FyDark · Finish
Share the photo, not where it was taken.
Photos carry where and when they were taken, and the camera's serial. FyDark draws the picture again and saves it without any of that. Free, in your browser — the photo isn't uploaded.

Good to know
What it does, and what it doesn't.
01
How it strips
It redraws the pixels and writes a new file, so nothing from the old file's header comes along.
02
A small re-save
A JPEG is saved again at the quality you set — 92% by default — so it isn't byte-for-byte the original picture.
03
Colour profile too
The new file has no embedded colour profile, so wide-gamut photos can look a touch flatter.
04
Sideways photos
The orientation tag goes with the rest; your browser draws the photo upright first, so it should stay upright.
05
Other tools strip too
Compress, Convert and Export re-encode the same way, so their files leave metadata behind as well.
