What it does, and what it doesn't.

Through FyAI
Every AI request goes through FyAI, Fyboard's AI gateway. It checks your plan, takes the run's credits from your monthly allowance, and keeps a record of it.

What a run costs
Masks, auto-enhance, a look from words, the Director, Ask, a palette and alt text cost 3 credits a run; captions, headlines and variations cost 1.

In Adjust
The AI tab: auto-enhance; a look described in words; Describe, for alt text, a caption and keywords; a five-colour palette and its mood; five variations on your grade; and a caption in your brand's voice.

The Director and Ask
Give the Director a brief and it returns a read of the picture, a grade to apply, a recommended crop, captions for social sizes, alt text, hashtags and a headline. Ask answers questions about the picture in plain words.

The crop is advice
The Director's crop comes with its reason; you set it yourself with the Crop tool.

AI masks
Subject and sky masks come back as rough outlines, which the studio softens into a mask in your browser. Then you grade inside them like any other mask.

No new pixels
Every AI answer is dial values, words or a mask outline. The picture itself is still drawn by the studio, in your browser.

Do I need an account?
Yes. AI requests go through FyAI, so you sign in. Free includes 30 AI credits/mo to try it; Cloud Pro has 1,500 AI credits/mo. Without an account, the AI parts say what they need, and the rest of FyDark stays free.
Is my picture uploaded?
For most AI features, yes — the picture is sent to FyAI to be read. Generating variations sends only your current dial values.
Is it unlimited?
No. Sign in and Free includes 30 AI credits/mo to try it; Cloud Pro has 1,500 AI credits/mo, and Team 6,000 AI credits/mo shared by the team. Masks, auto-enhance, a look from words, the Director, Ask, a palette and alt text cost 3 credits a run; captions, headlines and variations cost 1.
Can I mask the sky without AI?
Often, yes: a linear gradient from the top, or a brightness range for the bright part, free in your browser. The AI sky mask is more exact.
Will it apply the grade for me?
When you say so: auto-enhance, a look from words, the variations and the Director's grade each have an apply button. The dials stay yours to change after.
